Headquarters, tickets and opening huors

The museum’s main headquarter is Palazzo Viani Dugnani in Verbania Pallanza which hosts the Gipsoteca Troubetzkoy, the sculpture collection, the art gallery, and the temporary exhibit.

Tickets

Entrance tickets include a visit to the Permanent Collections and the Temporary Exhibitions

  • Full price ticket €8,00
  • Reductions €5,00: Over 65 – from 15 to 26 years old – Groups of at least 10 people
  • Free ticket: disabled plus an accompanying person – Children up to 14 years old – Journalists – Tour guides
  • Combined ticket Museo del Paesaggio and Villa Taranto Gardens 15.00 € (full) – 10.00 € (concessions)

Accessibility

  • The museum is fully accessible to visitors with mobility impairments. Admission is free for both the visitor and one accompanying person.

Families

The museum is family and kids friendly.
At the ticket desk, families with young children can purchase the Family Kit, which includes activity sheets, a route map, and a box of crayons—designed to make the museum visit more fun and engaging for children.

Facilities include:

  • Baby Pit Stop, located at the end of the exhibition route, for feeding or changing babies

  • A new relaxation area featuring the Nati per leggere reading corner—a cozy spot for parents, grandparents, and little ones to rest, read, and play. The area offers a wide selection of picture books and titles related to art and museums.

The Museo del Paesaggio also participates in the Nati con la Cultura initiative, which grants free admission through the Cultural Passport for newborns and their families. The passport allows free access for the child and up to two accompanying adults until the child’s first birthday. It is valid every day the museum is open.

Other buildings

Casa Elide Ceretti, in Intra in via Roma 42, is the museum’s new cultural center in Verbania and hosts a range of educational, artistic experimentation, meeting, and sharing events. The building is open for specific events. For further info consult the current exhibitions and calendar sections.

The Ornavasso building contains the Archaeology Collection in the town hall building in Piazza del Municipio 10, which can be visited  on appointment (tel: 333 4844439 / 0323 838300).
