Daniele Ranzoni and the Sermon of the Baptist in San Vittore in Intra

A small exhibition dedicated to the activity of Daniele Ranzoni inside the basilica of San Vittore di Intra, in particular to the lunette with the representation of the Sermon of St. John the Baptist made in the second chapel on the right, the subject of a delicate restoration – which ended last year year – which has given it back full legibility, and to the canvas with the depiction of San Vittore on horseback now exhibited inside the Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament. The Landscape Museum preserves some preparatory studies of both of these works, which will be exhibited together with other works by the artist in the rooms of Palazzo Viani Dugnani until Sunday 26 June 2022.
